The Co-op will maintain and grow viable businesses or projects that benefit the residents of Petroleum County by allowing Co-op members to invest funds in the future development of our community, therefore enhancing the economic stability of the community.

Who's in Charge?

The Co-Op members (common stockowners) will elect 5 Board Directors. The Board will create policy and review loan applications. In conjunction, the Board will assemble a loan advisory committee to assist.

What is this?

A revolving loan fund model, run by a Co-op of members and an elected board that will lend money to meet needs beyond traditional financing tools, bridge funding gaps, and create leverage for additional funding.

What is offered?

The Opportunity Development Cooperative of Petroleum County is being formed as a cooperative association. The secretary of State has licensed the original incorporators as commissioners to offer at par 11,200 shares of capital stock.
